Food Fun Friday: Strawberry Dessert Recipe: Strawberry Crescents

Strawberry Dessert Recipe, Strawberry Crescents

If you have read Mess For Less for any length of time, then you know that I love crescent rolls. They are good on their own, but are just so versatile in terms of what you can do with them. In the past I have made Apple Pie Crescents and Pepperoni Pizza Crescents. When I was shopping the other day I noticed a can of strawberry pie filling, which gave me an idea. Read on for a great strawberry dessert recipe.
You will need:
  • Crescent rolls
  • Strawberry pie filling or strawberry preserves

Unroll your crescents and separate them into triangles. Add a spoon of the strawberry pie filling near the top of the crescent. Roll up the crescent with the fruit in it. Some of the filling will be coming out of the crescent as you do this.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and cook according to crescent roll package directions.

When they come out of the oven you can put some of the strawberry filling on top or use strawberry syrup.

Strawberry Crescents

The hardest thing about making these is not eating them all at once. They are so yummy when they are warm! In our house these were a hit with the kids and the adults. Try our strawberry dessert recipe and see for yourself!
