You will need:
- Paper plate
- Scissors
- Orange and brown paint
- Pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
- Gold glitter
- Cotton ball
- Glue
Cut a pie sized wedge out of the paper plate. I used a heavier paper plate with a sizable lip that looked like a slice of pie.
Provide your child with two paint cups, one with brown paint and one with orange paint. I actually added a little brown to my orange paint cup to make the orange a little darker. They can paint the "crust" part of the paper plate brown. You can put another plate under the "pie" so paint doesn't get on the table.
Next have them paint the "filling" orange.
Sprinkle on some pumpkin pie spice. Cinnamon works well too. Just don't shake too hard or you will have a ton of spice on your pie.
Of course everything is better with glitter! Add some glitter for a little sparkle.
Finally, you can glue on a cotton ball as the whipped cream on your pie.
Hope you saved room for scented pumpkin pie! Not only does this look adorable, it adds a nice Fall scent to the room.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! May God bless you.
