Play Time with Magic Fun Dough

Compensation and product were provided by MEGA Brands and Swerve. All opinions are 100% percent my own.

We recently had the opportunity to play with Magic Fun Dough from RoseArt. We were sent a Volcano Valley set to explore, and my kids had so much fun creating and imagining different play scenarios.

Our Volcano Valley set included 5 tubs of Magic Fun Dough, 5 dough cutters, 5 stands, rolling pin, plastic knife, water pen, transfer press and 50 Magic Transfers.

What makes this Magic Fun Dough set so special, is that it comes with 50 dough transfers which allows kids to turn their dough into dinosaurs, cavemen and other fun objects. The transfers are easy to use and when kids are done playing with them, they are absorbed into the dough without changing its color or texture. With 50 transfers, your kids will be able to re-use the dough for countless hours of creative play. How easy are the transfers to apply? Well, my 3 year old can do it. She picked a dinosaur transfer to apply to the Magic Fun Dough.

She rolled out some dough, and peeled the plastic backing off the transfer.

Then she stuck the transfer to the dough, added water to the back of it and pressed it down with the transfer press. After one minute of pressing, you can peel the sticker to reveal a cool red dinosaur.

We then placed the dinosaur on a display stand and he became part of the action.

Magic Fun Dough is non-toxic and made from gluten-free, wheat-free, corn based dough. It really allows kids to participate in imaginative play as they create scenarios for the characters they create.

Rose Art Magic Fun Dough comes in 6 unique themes: Fairy Tea Party, Princess & Ponies, Pet Shop, Pirate Cove, Barnyard and Volcano Valley which you see below.

It is recommended for ages 3-7 and my 5 year old twins had just as much fun with it as my 3 year old. My daughter was especially fond of how she could create lava using the dough.

The play set has a bunch of cool features such as the boulder roll where kids can use a lever to release a Magic Fun Dough boulder. Look out below!

There is also a fun catapult which my daughter used to propel her caveman.

Magic Fun Dough activity sets by MEGA Brands are available for purchase (MSRP $999-$19.99 for children ages 3 and up) at major mass merchant retailers including Target and Walmart plus amazon.com. At Target and Walmart, look for them near the craft kits, rather than toys.

To see Magic Fun Dough in action, and learn how easy it is to apply the transfers, check out this video starring my three year old.

You can learn about the 90th Anniversary Facebook sweepstakes on the RoseArt Facebook page. You can have a chance to win $1,000 in holiday spending "dough" or weekly gift cards and prize packs.
