Every Friday is Pizza Friday in our household. This fun tradition is one that the kids and I look forward to all week. I love the fact that I don't have to think about what to make for dinner and the kids love pizza so it's a win all the way around. How do you make pizza night even better? By turning pizza night into a pizza party! You don't need an elaborate menu or guest list to have a pizza party. All you need is Tony's Pizza, a fun party game and lots of laughs.
Tony's Pizza provides an affordable, authentic pizzeria taste at home. I bought Tony’s Pizza at Walmart and used this coupon from Coupons.com to save 75¢ on any two Tony's multi-serve pizzas (11.04 oz or larger in the freezer aisle). Coupon available while supplies last.
While our pizza was cooking, we enjoyed this fun Roll A Pizza Game. It's a race to see who can complete their slice first. I've included some free printables with instructions so you can create your own game at home. I created a cube template with our favorite pizza toppings written on it. Simply cut out the cube and glue together on the tabs.
Roll A Pizza is a game for 2-4 players. Everyone starts with a white slice of pizza (the crust). Players take turns rolling the pizza die and attempting to complete their pizza. The first player who gets one of each topping on the die, wins! Before you can start to complete you pizza you must roll a sauce. Players take turns rolling until they get a sauce. Once you get a sauce then you can start topping your pizza on subsequent rolls. One of my daughters had to roll many turns before she got a sauce, but she was a good sport.
The kids had so much fun playing that they didn't even ask me when dinner would be ready!
After 15 minutes in the oven it was time to eat the real thing! My kids gobbled up their pizza, and why wouldn't they? Tony's Pizza has that pizzeria taste. It's crispy crust holds real cheese and flavorful sauce made from real tomatoes.
There were laughs and smiles all around as we all enjoyed our family pizza party.
Of course everyone enjoys pizza differently. One of my daughters starts with the crust, her favorite part. I am pleased to report that Tony's Pizza crust met her tough standards.
