Recently, I was sent a copy of My Easter Bible Storybook published by Tommy Nelson. This book is perfect for this time of year and contains all the whimsy and nostalgia we have come to expect from Precious Moments. The book is recommended for ages 2-6 and both my two year old and my three and a half year old twins loved the delightful illustrations.
Jesus' story is adapted from the International Children's Bible and it written in a language even young children can understand. The girls liked how the size of the book was great for kids and I loved how this padded board book is sturdy enough to survive 6 little hands and be cleaned afterward. This makes a great lasting Easter gift for children. There is even a presentation page for personalizing.
This book introduces children to Bible stories and the story of Easter. There are also prayers and song lyrics such as "Yes, Jesus Loves Me." We read the book and sang "Yes, Jesus Loves Me" and the next day my daughter heard that song in the car. Right away she called out, "that's the song from the book!"

Oh your photos bring back memories of when my girls would dress in Princess clothes everyday. (now almost 8 and 10) The Easter story book looks really cute. We enjoy church on Easter morning and then dinner with family.
growing up we never did egg hunts... Easter was all about spending time with the entire family in church, following a family feast... with lots of good food including lamb and colored boiled eggs... and we would get gift baskets. I also received my very first bible (it was precious moments too) on Easter when i was 2 years old. I hope to win so that i can continue that tradition with my oldest!
easter buns! Love going to grandmas and eating paska!
