My kids recently had the opportunity to review some wonderful children's DVDs from Thomas Nelson. On the Farm: Cocka Doodle Doo the Right Thing and Hermie & Friends: I Will Tell the Truth & Be Careful What I Say are the kinds of animated DVDs you will feel good having your kids watch. Both DVDs are targeted for the 4-7 crowd, though my 3 year old enjoyed them every bit as much as her older sisters. Read on to see why we enjoyed them so much and how you can win both DVDs for your family!
My girls laughed their way through On the Farm, a biblically based story which is voiced by Amy Grant and Vince Gill. Kids can relate to the characters and they will learn valuable lessons in respect and responsibility. There are also some wonderful bonus features designed to boost kids reading skills.
We are big fans of the Hermie series from Max Lucado and this latest DVD, I Will Tell the Truth & Be Careful What I Say is a great addition to the collection. This video, which contains two full length episodes, became an instant favorite in our house. The stories center around Flo who sometimes makes the wrong choices as she lies to friends and says things that will hurt them. Did you know that April 30 is National Honesty Day? This Hermie video is a great jumping off point for a discussion with the kids about sincerity and trust. There are wonderful moments in the video where Flo prays and asks God for help and forgiveness.
Remember I said you could win your own copies. Enter below and one lucky winner will be getting both On the Farm: Cocka Doodle Doo the Right Thing and Hermie & Friends: I Will Tell the Truth & Be Careful What I Say.
