Let me start off by saying that these Peep Pops were inspired by the people who make Peeps. While shopping the other day, I noticed pops for sale that were basically Peeps stacked on a lollipop stick. To me it seemed cheaper to just buy a bunch of Peeps and some sticks and make them myself. I wanted you to know that this was not my idea because the more I look at them, the more they look kind of obscene. But hey, the Peeps people managed to get them on store shelves, so maybe I need to get my mind out of the gutter.
You will need:
- Peeps in a variety of colors
- Long lollipop or cookie sticks
The marshmallow pops were very simple to make. Just push them through the stick and stack them. I used four for my pop, but with a really long stick you can use more Peeps.
I hope you'll make these Easter snacks. They are a simple way to add a little fun to a child's Easter basket.
