We recently made a fun and and easy Easter snack for kids. It took just a few minutes to put together and the kids gobbled it up just as fast. The great thing about this is that you can use candies that you already have at home. We used what we had on hand, but lots of Easter candy would work. Read on to see how simple it is to make an Easter treat kids will love.
- Chex
- Mini marshmallows (we found cute bunny ones)
- Jelly beans
- Candy melts in pastel colors
- Cupcake holders for serving (optional)
Empty your box of Chex, bag of marshmallows, and jellybeans into a large bowl and mix.
Melt the candy melts according to the instructions on the bag and pour over the cereal mix and stir. We used 1/2 cup of pink and 1/2 cup of purple candy melts.
Let the candy melts harden (ours took about 30 minutes) and then the snack is ready to serve.
Serving them in cupcake holders makes portion control easy and makes this the perfect Easter snack for kids.
