Easy Pipe Cleaner Activity

Sometimes I don't have a lot of time to do an elaborate activity or deal with the cleanup. I like to have some  easy activities on hand for just such occasions. Here's a fun and simple kids activity for you to try this weekend.

Supplies you will need:
  • Styrofoam shape
  • Pipe cleaners
That's it!  I buy Styrofoam shapes at the dollar store as I use them a lot for fine motor activities where the kids can push things into the Styrofoam.  Just give them the shape and some pipe cleaners to push in.  This really gets those little fingers working.

I love how B made a rainbow tunnel.

We had some sparkly pipe cleaners that seemed perfect for this time of year, but this will work with any kind of pipe cleaner.

Don't you just love their creations?

  5. We've been using pipe cleaners and colanders. This would put a different spin on it. I'm going to start looking for styrofoam at my dollar store now:)
