My kids and I had the pleasure of getting some Toy State toys to review. My kids were thrilled! They thought Christmas came early. I have to start off by saying that I have 3 girly girls. I have always tried to expose them to toys that are traditionally more "boy oriented" as I had a cool racetrack as a kid that was one of my favorite toys. But my kids are really into princesses right now, so I had no idea how they would react to the Toy State cars and trucks. Well, I shouldn't have worried - it was love at first sight.
Toy State offers a variety of toys that will engage your child. Some are motorized, some have lights and sound and some have all three. Toy State has a great set of Preschool toys that will appeal to little ones ranging in ages from 12 months to 3+. But that's not all. They really feature toys for kids of all ages.
The girls were very excited to play with the cars and trucks, but I had to get them out of the packaging first. When I was a kid it was really simple to get toys out a package. Today, not so much. I have not bought a toy since becoming a parent that has been easy to get out of the package. If you have some impatient kids around, I recommend you remove the toys from the box first, so they can just get to the playing.
My youngest liked the Dirt Flyers. I think because they are little like her. She was able to easily pull back the car and watch it go.
One of my twins was fascinated by the CAT Flashlight and Night Light. I really like the green under glow night light that had three timer settings. Now I don't have to keep the night light on all night. There was also a cool horn effect that can made with the push of a button. Anyone who know my kids knows that they like pushing buttons. Usually mine.
See, I told you they were girly girls. Here they are dressed like princesses and fixing a truck.
The drill was easy to use and even my nearly two year old was able to get it to work.
The twins enjoyed the fun moves of Road Rippers Come Back Racers. We got a Dodge Ram that has great tunes, realistic racing sounds and vocals. With the push of a button this car will take off. It also has the ability to come back and the kids had a blast chasing after the car and then running away as it backed up.
My girl watches as her Wheel Loader Job Site Machine drops her spoon. She had great fun putting different items in here for the Wheel Loader to pick up.
We even brought our toys outside for some more imaginative play.
My daughter tried to race the Wheelie Bike against the CAT Flashlight and Night Light. You would think the bike won, right? Well, it wasn't fond of the grooves in our pavers so the CAT Flashlight had a surprising victory. We did play with the Wheelie Bike Inside and it was super fast, had great sounds and actually does pop a wheelie!
On a related note, even our Elf on the Shelf couldn't resist these toys.

Sometimes, it's fun for girls to try out these type of products because typically you don't buy when you are a household of girls. Bet they loved it.
