Review: Pocoyo SwiggleTraks

I could not wait to share the Pocoyo SwiggleTraks toy with my kids.  Pocoyo is a kids TV series that originated in Spain and and is now in the US.  The main character, Pocoyo,drives his musical car around a flexible race track.  There is a bridge that can move at the touch of a button adding to the fun.  There is also an accessory ball that Pocoyo can push with his car.  

I decided to open the box and set up the toy while my kids were napping.  When I spilled out the contents of the box and saw all the pieces, I was a little intimidated. 

But I was so surprised at how easily the pieces snapped together.  In a few minutes I had the entire track assembled and Pocoyo was ready to roll.

Pocoyo's car is motorized and has a switch on the bottom.  After you turn on the car, he will drive around the track while playing a catchy tune.  A push of the button on the bridge gets the tracks moving.  Even my youngest, who is not yet 2, was able to do this.

Pocoyo truly encourages kids to "learn through laughter."  As you can see there were plenty of laughs at our place.

I love that the tracks can twist, bend and be assembled in numerous ways.  This makes the Pocoyo SwiggleTraks a great toy for nurturing your child's creativity.  We were able to make the bendable tracks into a loop and watch Pocoyo drive around.

We also assembled the tracks in a circle and watched him go.  

I love that the tracks can be used on their own too.  The kids had so much fun taking them apart and finding different ways to play.  

Since their September debut, Pocoyo SwiggleTraks have made quite a splash.  Leading parent's organizations have hailed it as one of the top toys of the year.

Clearly, my family are not the only ones who like this thing!  Poycoyo SwiggleTraks is suggested for kids 18 months and older.  My 3 year olds enjoyed it every bit as much as my 1 year old.  It would be a great Christmas gift for any little ones on your list.
