Review and Giveaway: Green Toys Pizza Parlor

We have a tradition in our family.  Every Friday is Pizza Friday.  Yesterday was a double treat for the kids. Not only did we have pizza for dinner, but they received this Pizza Parlor toy from Green Toys.  So it was a Pizza Friday all the way around.  

Green Toys are toys you can feel good giving your kids.  They are made in the USA from 100% recycled plastic.  Green Toys are made from recycled plastic milk jugs.  Our family goes through loads of milk, so it's good to know when we recycle them, that they might be turned into some fun toys.  I was impressed with how the Pizza Parlor came packaged.  Green Toys strives to use as little material as possible in packaging.  All of their toys are packaged in recycled corrugated boxes.

I felt good knowing that the Green Toys contain no BPA, PVC or phthalates.  You can even throw them in the dishwasher when they get all gunky from sticky little hands.

The Pizza Parlor contained all the ingredients any kid would need to make a great pizza.  There are slices of pizza, a pizza cutter, an order pad, pizza delivery box and all the toppings you can imagine.  I was really impressed with the variety of toppings.  There were some things my kids have not had before like mushrooms and onions.  

You can stack the ingredients on the pizza to build your perfect slice.  My daughter had fun asking me what ingredients I wanted on my pizza and then making my slice.

She then sliced it with the pizza cutter.  

Then she took a bite.  Hey!  I thought that pizza was for me.  I guess 3 year olds aren't the best at sharing.  

Check out all the toppings.  The best part is there is no additional charge for any of the toppings.  Try to find a pizza place that will do that!

Now it's ready to go in the oven.  Should I tell her the pizza box in the oven is not the best idea?
